from what it looks like in his posts, he was temporarily banned for using tor or whatever.

basically, the web server change has been giving me lots of issues connecting to the forums. (right now it's working, sort of off and on) my workaround was proxies, but typical free proxy servers are stuff so i tried out Tor. it worked fine till i posted, which gave me a ban message, so for a moment i thought i was permabanned. apparently it was just some sort of Tor-block ban, it only applied while i was using Tor (which is okay i don't like tor anyway).

so in a nutshell, nothing really happened. i just got banned from using Tor on the forums. still having issues but i'm not dead yet

Doesn't it just IP ban the Tor node you're using?

When you disconnect from Tor, obviously you're not going through that Tor node anymore, so everything "is back to normal".
