Why is everyone freaking out over Ephialtes saying to keep it in the designated topic?

It's not like he's going on a crusade to banish anyone who posted outside the topic, it was just clearly obvious that it belonged in the topic. Oh and the Minecraft fanbase has nothing to do with it, it's the topics everywhere.

I like having one Minecraft thread I can ignore, not 24/7 MINERCRAFTER SERVERS everywhere and random topics in Off Topic.

My point is, this hasn't caused nearly as much topic spam as you think is has.

While you're on those subjects, watching the show gives people no special privileges. If they think it does, they're attention whoring.
