What is the average lifespan of a human being in the W40K world? I know that Chaos followers are pretty much immortal and that Space Marines can use technology to extend their lives almost indefinitely, but what about guardsmen and the Imperial citizen? Do they have access to immortality? The Hive Worlds are never full because every 100 years they send about half the population to a newly discovered or terraformed planet, so it's not like there's a significant overpopulation problem going on. Would it only be reserved for the wealthy or is it commonplace?
