The only pony topics I've seen locked by mods were the ones that were intended to simply cause problems.

The idea is if you take the thread away from the people who just dump posts here, they'll eventually get bored, and leave the topic to the real fans. There's at least 10 people here who only post here because it's a popular topic.

They happen to make it more popular than it should be.

Pro-pony and anti-pony topics alike have all been locked by moderators. If zoo locked this topic and someone created another one then a moderator will lock it.

I don't even really discuss the show on here that much anymore because no one seems able to go along with that.
When I discuss it here, it's short. I mostly go elsewhere if I actually care to discuss it.
