Why did a student of this pony monarchy totalitarian state thing realize that the big bad evil monster pony was going to come and spread eternal darkness, but the princess who can supposedly RISE THE SUN thinks that its just some "silly myth"? And how does she rise the sun, anyway? Is there a pony rocketship somewhere? And why do some ponies have wings and others don't? Since when do ponies even have wings? And WHY IS THERE DRAGONS? THEY ARE THE FARTHEST THING FROM PONIES YOU CAN GET. And why is eternal darkness so bad? What, the ponies who can use TELEKINESIS and that can FLY can't figure out how to light a candle? And another thing, why can they use telekinesis in the first place? I know they are magic and all, but still, it seems like an inherited ability not some learned arcane art. In fact, nothing seems like an arcane art. Most of there books don't even have writing in them! AND WHY DO ALL THE PONIES HAVE TATTOOS AND POORLY CREATED NAME? Okay, nightmare moon or whatever sounds kind of neat, but how about that Southern pony with 40 relatives that were all apple puns. Real creative, writers. This isn't even half of the mind numbing, painfully ridiculous, and just plain sophomoric flaws of this show. AND THIS IS JUST THE FIRST EPISODE.Otherwise, though, it wasn't half bad. I can understand why someone might watch it, though in my opinion it isn't something I'd want to see again. :o
Because in medieval themed shows, there must be dragons.
Odd, I openly spoke to everyone via facebook that I am a brony and no-one seems to really care. Everything went better then expected.
