eh, I wouldn't really be shocked if it were true. a few here in this forum make it seem like they would.
fan-groups of other things do it with their fandoms (furries, weeaboos, others), so it's not like it would be something new.

though I can't say it really matters if they did or not either. it doesn't really have a significance.

Other one sounds more gory then loveual. Bolded part is the only part that sounds loveual.
