There really isn't any way to tell the order the episodes go in, aside from a few cases. You could probably watch all of them in a totally random order (save for the first 2 and a couple others) and it wouldn't be any different from watching them in order.

Although going in order doesn't matter, save for episodes one and two, I personally enjoy doing so.
Some have slight story-connections, and although missing them wouldn't harm you in the end, it still is worth it in the long run.


If I was to suggest an episode outside of the first two, it would be "Swarm of the Century", "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", or "Party of One".
