I really do mean it. I'm sure nobody cares what I have to say, but jesus christ. The fanbase was fine until absolutely EVERYONE discovered it and made us seem like gross and idiotic people. I don't mean to sound like a hipster. But good god. The furries, the idiots, the people who liked it because they wanted to be "cool". They really ruined my experience with the fanbase. The loveual content, the fanfics (a lot of them), the fighting, and just a lot more of things. I just loved the show, I loved the fanbase, and I loved the fanwork. After a while, the fanbase grew, and the amount of fans' content grew. I really enjoyed that happening. But when the furries and wannabes started having a interest in the show, we had rule 34 and people wanting to have love with/date/whatever the ponies. Do they really turn you on?
And again the the fighting. Everyone was out for each other. Then, the bronies started using meaningless insults such as "u mad" and "problem?". Even people that weren't fans tried to stand up for you. You still acted like complete morons and asshats.
I'm really loving pissed off. Mainly this forum's fanbase of MLP has ruined my experience of the show. So go ahead, get mad at me, call me names, because frankly, I don't care right now. The people like Masterlegodude, Blastdown, Proog, and plenty of others are awesome, and I congradulate them for not turning into morons or perverted fans prior to them discovering the show.
