I have a theory. Lauren Faust is a radical feminist, that's undeniable. Most male ponies are charicterless workhorses. Its seen in MLP everywhere. But maybe the reason she likes bronies is more because they act like little girls, as opposed to the big mean men she hates so much. I don't think money is the issue, since most bronies watch her show illegally.

Lauren Faust is a radical feminist, that's undeniable.

from what I've read, she isn't a radical one. supports womens equal rights and all that fun, but not the type that think only women should rule the world and men are insignicant and all that other rot

There's really no other excuse to enjoy having an enormous creepy fanbase. Unless she's lying to appease her fans.

That scene you described is ironically exactly what FiM is.

some girl's cartoons are over-populated with girls, just to point out
i don't find that, because the cartoon has that particular scene, proves any radical-feminism. both sides of the gender-field have cartoons with 90% men, or 90% women.

I decided to make this.

Except in this situation, males are basically portrayed as extras. Females rule the world, and males are insignificant. I know girls shows where males at least have an ongoing role.

Fancypants balances out the entire situation by being the most fancy and charitable pony in all the land.

Are we really arguing about whether Faust likes us or not? Really, guys?

Spike.

Though he isn't a totally main character.
