Spent a half hour playing practice and still had no clue wtf I was doing

The goal is to kill the other teams moneyball.
Support your bots to take down defensive turrets that are set up around the map, and lead them to the moneyball.

Yes I understand that but it seems like I barely do stuff even after upgrading all my abilities

Maybe it makes more sense when there are more people in the game
