At this point, I don't even care about this Derpy controversy. I have the original video, with the original voice. Since that animator says Derpy will continue to be present in episodes, that'll be just fine.

Chances of making them revert to the old version at this point is low, and not worth my effort. If they actually are able to sway Hasbro and revert the change, hats off to them. Doesn't sound likely since they just spent however much time and money to do this bullstuff anyway lol

I honestly doubt it was due to legal reasons. Her name was the only part that may have been an issue, but they changed her eyes and voice too. Doing all three of these things tells me they buckled under the pressure from offended individuals.

I hear the DVD "The Friendship Express" contains "The Last Roundup" and doesn't have these changes. So as long as they don't change the DVD, we can still get the official video in DVD format.

according to that artists description, and I've also heard this elsewhere, iTunes/Apple is responsible for the de-derping of Derpy.
there is a lack of proof/sources and whatnot, but that would be better than Hasbro doing it.
