Author Topic: Some stupid Congress thing.  (Read 3215 times)

it was already illegal. they just couldn't specify before how it could be enforced.

this is congress protecting YOU, as to not allow many companies to just sue the stuff out of you.

Or upset little children like Gloria Tesch.

This 'law' is so rediculious that if somone were to take a video of there Laptop and for example it had an 'Acer' logo which is copyrighted then they could go to jail.

Humanity is slowing working it's way to a 'brighter' future.

Well, it wouldn't hurt if you were making like a Terraria video, and typing in the description something about the video, and then typing: Copyright © 2011 Re-Logic or something like that. But if you have made 10+ videos in the past with copyrighted material and forgot to do so, you would be forgeted.

This is just what I think.

Dang, so if this passed I would have to put like Copyright © 2011 Lego Company on any stop-motion video I would make?

No.

As bullstuff as it is, it doesn't work like that

If gaming and recording companies were smart, they'd oppose this bill. The only way I buy a game or a song is by seeing them first. I watch gameplay videos on Youtube to see if I'd enjoy the game, then I buy it. I listen to songs on Youtube first to see if I'd like to buy them to hear while I'm on the go.

Quickly, arrest youtube!

From what I got that is exactly how it works.

stuff, sorry police, I just accidentally had Livestream Procaster running alongside my downloaded copy of Inception in 1080p on my high-speed internet connection.  The Livestream channel full of 50 people is also an accident.
