I use BitDefender 2011 Pro, it's pretty good too. It's very powerful in terms of being able to get rid of pretty much any virus. It uses a special kind of tool that creates a fake "computer" in which if a virus is doing something bad to that "computer", it knows it's a virus. It isn't free, but if you want protection, you should talk to your parents about getting a real anti virus.

Microsoft Security essentials isn't bad. I use it paired with avast and it has caught some stuff that avast misses.

Trend Micro's got real-time scanning, might wanna look it up.

I had it. It was a HUGE pain in the ass to renew the software, or even update it. It's not free anyway.

If you can spare $50, I would go for Kaspersky. It's actually pretty good.

Actually, Avira looks pretty good too.
No forget it I'm trying AVG since Avira is taking too long to download.
