Those things are scary.

Especially when you're in a dark cave or something. They just sneak up on you, one time two of them fell on top of me and I pissed my pants. (just a little bit though)

not being able to defend yourself

in games i generally go:
"i dont have a weapon yet so no way in hell they'll throw lethal enemies at me"

with amnesia/penumbra i went:
"oh god no im gonna die crapcrapcrap i need an escape plan"

Thats the beauty of those games, you can't take them head on, you have to hide from them.
