Finding out that you have to fight 3 Supersoldiers near the end of the game.

Half Life 2:
Going underneath the bridge, whilst fighting a Gunship on the return journey.

Borderlands:
-Fighting the final boss, The Destroyer, is so god damn hard.
-The amount of idiotic 5 year-olds with modded guns is insane.

The Darkness:
Fighting the Darkness.

Left 4 Dead 2:
The TAAANNNK! mutation. Although it was very fun. :)
Bumping into a Witch during a horde attack.

Brink:
Idiotic friendly AI, and insanely difficult enemy AI.

Lost Planet 2:
Fighting Red Eye (if I'm worng, then it's the desert boss).

It freaked me out in Nightmare House 2 where one guy was about to shoot the other.
