Well, if so many people on these forums aren't having fun while celebrating the 4th of July then it's not a very good national holiday, is it?
I had a wonderful 4th of July. These people just suck at having fun or something.

Not to mention that other guy who got his $800 worth of July 4th celebratory fireworks confiscated by a police officer because "They leave the ground", apparently.
Cityfolk lol.

Also, it doesn't matter if a holiday isn't mine to celebrate, that can't stop me from having an opinion.
You said you'd rather celebrate a "real" holiday. lol

Because in the UK we don't deal with stupid holidays like this and only pay attention to the real ones like St. Patrick's day.

That doesn't imply that I would rather celebrate a real holiday, that implies that in the UK we only celebrate holidays that matter.
Last time I checked I am not the entire UK

July 4th does matter. Just not to you. Keep it that way and stop complaining about it when you don't even live on the same continent as the country that celebrates it.

Last time I checked I am not the entire UK
