Nope. Try temporarily. If that fixes the issue then you know what software you configured wrongly.

Because anti-virus software blocks blockaland, an application which already has access to the internet the ability to open up a web client doesn't it...

Same happened with me, except I actually posted in the help section.
My problem is that when I click a link, the console says "Failed to open the HKCR\http registry key!!!"
