It can block the ability for an application to spawn new processes.
Nexus:
If you are running vista, then links probably do not work in blockland.
Things that also do not work in blockland while using vista:

1/4 of your keyboard
minimizing blockland, then maximizing something else

I have a vista, it doesn't do that to me. :s
