I honestly don't mind the ponies contained within the ponies topic, but I think the real issue for most people, is that they don't want to be in a community of people who enjoy a ponies show for little girls. It's like the 'ol stereotype of not wanting to hang out with the nerds and such because they make one look bad, or they have some kind of disease.

I regarded the thread you linked as just stupid and pointless.  There has been a huge influx in pointless threads lately.

I regarded the thread you linked as just stupid and pointless.  There has been a huge influx in pointless threads lately.
