Show me an original modern FPS that has nothing to do about war or extremely great graphics.

Exactly... yeah.
Graphics have been pushed forward because of advancing technology and hardware capabilities. You're more than welcome to keep playing on your PS1 or Windows 95 Compaq computer, however don't complain if it breaks and Sony/Compaq tell you that they won't do stuff because they don't support it anymore.
Almost every FPS is alike in the sense that they use slow regenerating health, blood splatter, gore, knives, large selection of weapons, iron sights aiming etc. FPSes that have those things generally sell well more than others.
Again, you're just upset that the modern age has moved past your expectations. There's no reason to get upset at society and the video game industry, lol.
there are plenty of fpses that aren't about ww2/iraq/vietnam. quake series, doom series, hexen, heretic, duke nukem 3d, timesplitters, chex quest, half life series, etcthat's a third person shooter
He said war, as in the concept of war. Not a real life war. Half-Life 2 features a war between rebels and Combine if you think about it. Duke Nukem has a war between humans and aliens and Doom has a war between demons and humans. They're all war if you think about it.
