It's free on the ps3 too and the multiplayer on the wii is basically dead.

Wi-Fi, I mean. And depends on the game you're playing.

Does the PS3 require that broadband bullstuff like it's predecessor?

I had a new Xbox, RRoD'd within a week. Sent it to get repaired, RRoD'd within 2 weeks. Got a whole new one and it RRoD'd on the spot.

Learn to turn it off or lay it flat like it's supposed to be.
And make sure the vent isn't up against the wall. :/

launch console RRoD'd after ~5 years

new one that I bought (not the newest model, but an elite) has lasted like a year so far with no problems
