This was happening to me, but with google chrome you can view a cached copy, and then from there I directly went to clan discussion, and all works fine now. Odd things you can do to get around stuff.

Badspot, you need to make a system like AoT for announcements. The morons are coming out of hiding and spamming topics of the problem without searching. I'd love if people started their game and got a warning "The servers are currently having issues. We are aware of this, however I have no control over it and the repairs will come on the server's schedule." or something.

That something else, everytime a player join/quit the server, it lag.

What you can do is change your DNS settings to OpenDNS, this worked for me. OpenDNS is a free DNS provider.

If you want to know how to change DNS settings, on windows it's similar to changing to a static IP (on the same page).

Seemed to fix my issue of it; you can also (in windows) try inputting in the command prompt
