I'm only sure of the 6770, which is 450w, I checked the components page for my computer (Gateway GT5014) http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/5395/5395cl3.shtml and it didn't display the watt requirments for any of the components, all I know is the stock PSU is 300w.

welp

First thing you're going to need to do is choose a lower-end graphics card, maybe something in the HD 5700-6000 area but I'm not sure if even getting a 5770 would overcome the bottle necking problem since I don't understand that personally, then it'd probably be wise to play it safe and get a 600w PSU which will also give you a bit of room for upgrading the CPU later down the line

newegg has some pretty cheap 6-800 watt powersupplies for less than 100$ but read the reviews

one well-priced motherboard looked perfect for me until i read the feedback

this one put me over

Not Newegg's fault.

550W would be ample, however if you got at least a 600W that'd leave a great margin for a CPU upgrade down the track.

Stock parts seem to require 100-200w, so the 650w PSU IT IS!
