Morgan of BF3Online snooped around in the Battlelog and BF3 Beta game files and discovered some interesting bits of information: a list of all of the maps in Battlefield 3.  The maps have generic names (for example, Operation Metro is MP_SUBWAY, while Caspian Border is MP_FOREST) but nevertheless this is largely new information!  Following are lists of all the maps in BF3 according to BF3Online‘s findings:

Multiplayer Maps

MP_BAZAAR
MP_HIGHWAY
MP_FOREST (Caspian Border)
MP_PARIS
MP_OILFIELDS
MP_BASEJUMP
MP_SUBWAY (Operation Metro)
MP_Cbrown townS
MP_KHARG
MP_OMAHA
MP_TUTORIAL
Singleplayer Maps

SP_BANK
SP_EARTHQUAKE (Fault Line)
SP_FINALE (2 Part)
SP_JET (2 Part)
SP_NEW_YORK (2 Part)
SP_PARIS
SP_SNIPER
SP_TANK (2 Part) (Thunder Run)
SP_VALLEY  (Operation Guillotine)
SP_VILLA
Cooperative Maps

COOP_A10
COOP_BREACHED
COOP_HOSTAGE
COOP_ROLLINGTHUNDER
COOP_BEHINDENEMYLINES
COOP_SUPERCOBRA
COOP_EXTRACTION
COOP_ASSASSINATION
COOP_EXFILTRATION
COOP_SUBWAY
Also discovered were a list of weapons exclusive to the Back to Karkand expansion pack:

XP1_FAMAS
XP1_HK53
XP1_PP19
XP1_QBZ95B
XP1_L85A2
XP1_QBB95
XP1_MG36
XP1_JACKHAMMER
XP1_TYPE88
XP1_L96
Remember, this stuff isn’t official, it’s from the game files, so there might be changes (MP_TUTORIAL might be a test map for example that we won’t see in the final release… but it could also be a sandbox / tutorial map where players can practice flying, driving, etc).  Thanks BF3Online for the great find.
