You only get games on PC because they offer completely OPTIONAL avatar clothing for people who want to show of that they are a fan of something?

You are missing the point. Before they are even released, same goes for AC revalations, they pull every last scrap of money from this by making avatar outfits from stuff they've seen in the trailer. They don't even have the right names.
