of course its just easy to use the rocket pods first because they have a slightly larger(less damage though) splash radius so when you turn around and come in for another run you can shoot immediately without too much precision. Also it disables tanks faster as well as kill the engineers repairing/hiding behind it. Generally for rush its much better too because its more common to have to take out a line of infantry other than tanks and jeeps.

on a rush this rush server there's a rule that disallows IGLA/STINGER so we can't shoot down jets or helicopters, we have to rely on our own jet and unguided rockets. anyways on our last m-com the helicopter was demolishing us by spawn camping but we kept the m-com alive, i got tired of his stuff, changed to an engineer and shot him down with an RPG-7V2. I was promptly kicked from the server for using an IGLA/STINGER.
I come back later on the same map again (Kharg Island) and one of the admins is spawn camping with C4 by attaching it to our AMTRAC's and M1 ABRAMS and detonating it as we got in. I also got tired of his stuff, went behind him, put lodsofholes in his backside with a shotgun and teabagged him for being a douchebag. I was then promptly banned.
I complained to the server host, I believe I was unbanned, I don't know what happened to the douchebag admin.

I never give a stuff about anti-SAM rules. I think that's the most handicapped thing you could enforce so i ignore them and use them anyways. Mind you, this wall all on xbox so most admins/host broke there own rules anyways and/or was too lazy to kick me.
