not necessarily a bad thing
it can be good to pick one weapon that you like, and use it almost all the time. you'll get used to everything about it
that's what I did, before, with the G36C. it's not a great weapon normally, but I used it like half of the time that I was playing, and it worked out well for me
on the other hand it's also nice to have several weapons to pick from, in case of a big nerf!! (but they're probably done with most of that, by now! until BF4 comes out, that is)

i feel bad for those famas users pre patch
and i'm the same with the an-94
i used to be support main, but now i only play assault and main an-94, i wasn't good with it but i used it so much i fell in love with the 2 burst

I try to use everything but the M16A3, it is my last resort weapon.

Ironically my best weapon is the M16, I pretty much use all of the guns at my disposal equally. Never use the m16 now though, makes the game too easy.
