Zombies are cliche and boring. They aren't scary anymore. Especially not in Blockland.
Besides, this wasn't designed to be a ZAPT campaign. Fighting tons of zombies in cramped enclosed spaces would be annoying, and trying to do puzzles while constantly under attack would be frustrating as hell.
