Author Topic: Idea for a file game.  (Read 409 times)

I'm planning on making a game made of solely .txt files and folders all contained in one zip (not Blackhole.zip that you all no-humored cigarettes all whined about, by the way). It works by reading the initial text file, then choosing the folder or other txt that's name is what you'd like to do. I plan on it being an escape-the-room kind of game but I don't have very many ideas, plus a lot of things that you wouldn't think of in a flash because it doesn't say it right on a txt, you would see a txt saying, combine water and acid and then lower temperature" to cause some kind of reaction. IT would also heavily rely on trusting the player to understand and not cheat the game. Any comments/ideas/suggestions/fixes/whatnots?

Stop with these annoying things.  :cookieMonster:

I'm sorry but they are no good.

I wonder what's in this .txt fil-oh stuff I lost. Oh well, I'll just hit the back button and try the other choice...

What they did In MSPA.
Actually I'll probably do something like that.

If you are able to make a Starcraft/Metroid/Deadspace, you will get a  :cookie:.

I've made a few folder games, but they take too long to make inside of zips :/
