In addition to most of the stuff you have,
VirtualBox - OS emulator
Audacity - Sound editor
Gimp - image editor
Mozilla Thunderbird - mail client

All open-source cross platform crap because I'm an avid Linux user as well.

Windows-only stuff I have:
Orbiter - space simulator
VirtualDub - video post-processor
Notepad++ - code editor

Trymos, I would have internet on my computer if my parents allowed me. They don't want me (well, I've only talked to my mom about it) staying up all night online and looking at research and whatnot.

he doesnt need GIMP if he has paint.net

unless he prefers GIMP
