Ugh why do so many people have the urge to make crappy conventions..  Even the "best" one sucked it just doesn't work.

Why Blockland conventions are not good/success full. 
1.You cannot control people.
2.People DO NOT sit down.
3.You can't make sure everyone is doing the right thing you want.  (Unless you got a security team in a secret room)
4.You have crappy entries
5.It can take up to 9 hours to actually finish.
6.You basically "crash" your self for all the addons and that. 
7.No one would do much...
8.Having an 'event' contest would be horrible... I can't imagine how bad that would turn out.
9.You would need to have at least 99 players.... (ask kalph i think?)
10.You need at least 20 Admins that YOU trust.

Blockoworld was decent, so conventions are possible.
