Lol, on another forum I visit, everyone is nice and helpful. It's great, I suspect the MC forums try to be that way.

I already sent a few complaint emails.
I think Id make a good mod. I applied to be one, but I received a PM telling me that my warning level was to high.

There's been many little cases of the mods being humongous richards, but I can remember 2 key ones:
1: There was some stuff where one of the mods turned on Notch and tried to rally an entire board to spam something of his or somewhere related to him, I can't remember what though. He even stickied the post.

2: Some guy randomly had his account deleted (for no reason, obviously) and when he made an alt and posted a topic about that THAT account was nuked and he ceased to exist once more, no explanation ever given.

Yeah. I think the forums give out Mod to easily.
