I think the thing about Kitchen is the biggest flat space to build is on the floor, but you have to compete with that annoying and skewed rug. Then there's the cabinets and the counter which I guess could seem a little imposing from their height. I'm still making a city build on that map though and I have a work around for those factors.

I like the kitchen map, but I'd think the geometry throws a lot of people off from using the map. It has a lot of room for building but so does slate and you don't have to work around the interior of anything in it.
