I'm not sure what you mean by "linking your stupidity" as I was quoting pony stupidity into the "anti-pony research crusade." Other than that I don't really understand your point.

You've got two bad effects and one good effect.
Stupidity + Protecting forums = acting like you own the forums.
That's to put it in it's simplest form.
With the stupidity. I'm taking it as a general flaw of yours so I leave it at the beginning of the sentence for you to decide, that's why it may not make sense.
