it has well written characters, funny jokes, bitchin action, and the storylines are actually on the level of some more adult shows
it basically took the mlp franchise and turned it into something that can appeal to people past the target age/gender, and that's loving awesome. i really hope other girls cartoons follow this trend and realize that just because something is made to appeal to girls doesn't mean it has to suck.
