Buy a crap load of 9-volt batteries, connect them together and both ends to a wire that has a heat-resistant coating and a high-voltage limit.  Strap this all to your back in an insulated bag and attach the wires to a pvc pipe.  Have a trigger that pushes the two wires together, causing the electricity to jump imbetween them.

Then, run around and start zapping stuff.
