my dad's been on the news because he's pretty high up in the MTA in New York, he responds to emergencies such as people getting run over by trains or if two trains collide or whatever. A couple years ago when that Asbestos explosion stuff was going on in New York my dad was on the news.
he also met Nicolas Cage because they were filming some movie outside of his workplace. Cage let my dad and his friend get free food from the food cart they had set up for the movie.
