Sure, when I return I'll host a longer 'public' test, as there will be a good deal of new features.

Well now I just gotta add the ability for the server to load a height map from a bmp. We can test in about 24 hours. Also, bump.

128x128 24bit grayscale bitmap images now work. Feel free to submit ones you'd like to see ingame. Testing will start in less than 20 hours when I return.

I've returned.
Gonna transfer my work over to my home computer now!

I assume you wrote this in C++, correct? Just curious.

Ah. I am just wondering what programs he used to make the game altogether, I know some C++ and have some ideas to go through for a game, also.

"Programs used to make" makes me think of gamemaker or something.
The only programs I used would be the IDE and the compilier.

Anyway, who's ready for a test now?
(heightmaps - water/swimming - building that doesn't require chat)

I thought you would have used something to make the objects in the game like a modeler or something. But to just use the IDE and a compiler to make that is impressive.

Models ingame?
Blender, or I take them off a site that lets you take models for free.

Alright, link to client will be posted soon.
