What? Portal 2 was way better than Portal. It added more stuff to forget around with.
What makes you say it's worse?

Portal as a game itself was just one of those games that had enough of everything. It had enough levels, enough challenge, enough story behind it and that's what made it a good game. A small game that wasn't cramped.

Whereas Portal 2 just seemed like too much at once. It looked a lot like valve tried to one-up the small team they hired to make Portal.

Portal 2 is not as good as the first game, and I would recommend amnesia because it's just so loving cool

If I get Amnesia, before anything, I'm going to try and build a Custom Story. I'd rather not look at an element with first hand experience of fear.

That's the easiest way to handle this, though. Nobody has to decide until they win, and even then I don't have to gift them right away, just so long as they get the game they want.
