Ok, I do need to add something to the handle because it just looks like spammy lines imo.

Ok I removed them.
anyone know what I need to do next?
I know I need to add joints for the handle and blade but on what program? Can I stick with SketchUp? How do I convert it to blender, or can you only do joints in milkshape?

You can't use sketchup for that. But I don't know how to export or anything.
