In the old Fallouts you could to any of the caravan offices and get hired to be a caravan guard. Each carvan took a different route. The Crimson Carvan was run by a maniac and preffered to take the most dangerous routes, they payed the highest, but carvans took awhile to ship . The Fargo traders pay modestly and avoid trouble. The Water Merchants are greedy bastards who make frequent trips and pay the lowest. The problem is the trips are scheduled and you had to arrive to the job site at a certain time. Also if the brahmin die during an attack on the way you didn't get payed. If you made it you had the option of gaurding the caravan on a return trip for more pay. |
