Well yeah it's default.

Anyways I beated honest hearts and it didn't take long because the main quest is ridicolously short.
Atleast I got a few badass items : the desert ranger armor , the 12.7mm service rifle and the unique M1911.

Currently I'm trying to get most unique firearms into my possession.
The next ones on my list are the mysterious magnum , mercy and La longue carbine.
After that I will get some of the Gun Runner's Arsenal unique weapons and search for the unique varmint rifle maybe.

Ratslayer (unique varmint rifle) is south of the Legion camp with the powder ganger prisoners. It is a really good beginning sniper rifle.

If you want La Longue carbine get the Risen mod and go and murder Sheriff payne.

Then you dont have to steal it and wont lose karma and spend 8 hours trying to obtain it.

Yeah I know. I didn't get it earlier because I found it pretty pointless to use as it is just good for the very beginning of the game.

Too bad that I am playing on PS3 which I mentioned before.
Anyways I can kill Sterling with dynamite without loosing karma or anything else and since I finished the bounty hunter quest he's not important anymore.

Didnt see that.

And is Karma broken on the PS3? I tried pickpocketing and dynamite and even a RPG. but i lost Karma and NCR Fame.

You have to drop the dynamite on the floor and then shoot it.
It will then explode and eventually kill Sterling.
