Although lasers are faster than plasma-based weapons, a plasma weapon's damage succumbs that weakness, making them a Wastelander's weapon of choice when it comes to energy weapons.

Unless you are sniping, in which case you need the increased speed and accuracy of a laser.

Easily the most fun weapons to use. A pity they aren't so good in the late game.
