Ranger of the Wastes is good isn't it?
I wouldn't blow up Megaton and tarnish your good rep, plus it makes your dad disappointed with you.
I only blow up Megaton if I'm trying to be an evil guy.

anyway I just killed the Rivet City guard and took her gear, better than my old and I still got same rep title. Nobody in town seems to care. Should I undo it?

Go into VATS and target a Vicious Dog when he's in mid-pounce. He doesn't look vicious at all.
