Has anyone notice the increased stealth mechanics on New Vegas over fallout 3. In fallout 3 if you shot once everyone knows where you are, in new vegas you can actually lose people if you are able to sneak around a corner with out them seeing you.
Plus the entire faction armor disguise adds in even more stealth. I think I posted my experience about the NCRCF somewhere.

Yeah, I really enjoy the better stealth system. It allows me to snipe off a huge group of people without a problem.

They actually work.
I just use a fully moded laser rifle because of the sniper scope. It's so far the best weapon I've seen for sniping and best of all, the laser is not that loud.
