Is it actually stuck there?
Or can you just not see what is detecting you?

I had that glitch before. It doesn't go away until you re-load.

Even in my safe and secure home in Megaton, it was stuck there.
After sleeping for an hour, it was stuck there.
After doing a complete sweep eliminating all enemies in the vicinity, it was stuck there. When enemies see me it says [DANGER], as it should, but when the enemies are dealt with it goes right back to "Caution".
