Cool.

I think the hard part is the moderation of articles. I don't want people just spamming them.

If people's first couple of articles have to be approved and spammers are IP-banned I think that should cover most of it. However, a couple of moderators would probably be needed.

I was thinking of starting my own blog focused on more of mod modification, game updates, and that instead of drama and server stuff. Then I got Mr. Wallet to view it, and being the critic he is, he pointed out a good number of problems. I'll end up delaying any public announcement so I can work on my Journalism skills.

But yeah, a couple would be nice. They can also check for quality.

I think people who know quality writing should be moderating the blog.
Bushido:
it doesn't have to be QUALITY, it has to be newsworthy

it's not so much the quality of the article as it is the quality of the news itself, you see. something that most people would actually regard as 'stuffty' like a knife DM or something involving 'cna i b te doge??!1!/' would have very low priority, while something alarming or revolutionary like a really high quality mod coming out (or simply EXISTING) would hit high priority reasonably quickly

also, just for a sense of size, high-quality servers would probably hit a 3 or a 4 out of 5 on a priority scale
