i recruited one guy
a cheetah claw his stomach and he died in a forest fire
he was the town merchant

Lol, you're supposed to go to castles and recruit swordsmen and stuff. No peasants, they suck.
Jacob/Lee:
I've had epic swordsmen die of stupid things. A bandit archer lazily shot an arrow at me and it chipped my shoulder bone, then I passed out and was beat on by the bandit group for about 30 turns before they finally pierced my helmet and stabbed my brain through my skull.
Pain is a death sentence.
