Dwarf Fortress Megathread! - Necro'd enough to count as a vampire

the family work is really cool and adds a ton of depth, but what the hell do drunks do
is "drink all the liquor" a profession

Drunks used to be really common in human taverns before 40d, they actually didn't do anything aside from bad wrestling moves. A few versions ago (still in the 31.xx version), migrants came as real historical figures, including odd professions like drunks. I never actually witnessed a dwarf with that profession, though.

Yeah. Apparently my civ's king from far away is considered a Drunk. or maybe it's the queen. simply, everyone has cirrhosis.

A dwarf just made cold soup out of 4 units of dog tallow. It doesn't sound very appetizing.
Also, I noticed in the vanilla game, the humans are the only race that ever include the words "Union" or "Confederacy" in their civ names.

Oh god that sounds disgusting, because it's cold wouldn't that make it a hard/jiggly mass?
